EDIT: N°1
TO EAT / MANGER
June 24th, 2005

EDIT: publishes opinions, interviews, essays, portfolios and reviews on contemporary art from a current and a historical point of view. We want to be a forum for critical reflection on art and culture, which focuses on young artists and on unpublished works of art. We want to create an international platform where young artists and writers are able to freely express themselves. Each issue will be devoted to a specific topic. For our first issue we chose the subject TO EAT/MANGER, a universal theme that inspires lots of artists. In our portfolios we are proud to present the work of the artists Guillaume Coadou, Xenia Helms and Chris Lewis who all approached the theme in their own personal way. Our portfolio IN:EDIT shows the photographs by Marie Snauwaert. This column focuses on young artists and it functions as a special close-up not related to the theme of the issues.

Enjoy our first EDIT: !

To celebrate EDIT:'s birth an exhibition gathering photographs by Guillaume Coadou, Xenia Helms, Chris Lewis and Marie Snauwaert is held in the Atelier Æ, Paris (see flyer above to know more).
